What is a Poet for hire?

I craft personalised poems for guests on the spot. Each poem becomes a one-of-a-kind keepsake, a handwritten memento for guests to take home. My experience as a performer creates a special blend of personal interaction, with the carefully selected words to encapsulate each individual guest. I am able to offer everything from hand-written, type-written, roaming, immersive, performance poetry and more.

I am a poet, actor and theatre-maker from East London. My passion for storytelling and performance has led me to share my poetry with audiences all across the world.  My writing uses a comedic lens to explore themes of queerness, class, identity and self-discovery.

After graduating from Rose Bruford College in 2020, I have performed my work at The Barbican, The Roundhouse, Glastonbury Festival and toured with The National Theatre. I was recently listed as a ‘Rising Star of 2024’ by The Media Eye and have been a headline artist for poetry nights around the UK. I have also created 2 short films, one of which is shared below.

I am also the Artistic Director of Common Ground, a collective for creatives to connect, collaborate and workshop new writing.
